PopularDiesel VNTAudi 2.0 TDI Turbocharger
CAGA / CAHA / CGLB · Garrett GTB1752VK
- Variable-nozzle (VNT) diesel turbo
- Most common used Audi turbo in SA
- Often pulled from stripped A4/A6 diesels
R4,000 – R8,500

Used Audi turbochargers, 2.0 & 3.0 TDI VNT, 2.0 TFSI, 1.4 TFSI and RS-spec units, tested and delivered nationwide.
Need a used Audi turbocharger for sale in South Africa? Turbos are one of the most-requested engine parts we strip, and we carry tested second-hand units across the range, the variable-nozzle 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI V6 diesel turbos, the EA888 2.0 TFSI petrol units (K03, IS20, IS38) and the smaller 1.4 TFSI.
A failing turbo usually shows up as lost power, smoke, whistling or oil consumption, often from a sticking VNT actuator or worn bearings. A good used turbo from a low-mileage donor is far cheaper than a new OEM unit. Quote the turbo with your engine code and we’ll match the right part.

The variable-nozzle 2.0 TDI and 3.0 TDI V6 turbos are our fastest movers, pulled from stripped A4, A6, Q5 and Q7 diesels. The most affordable turbo tier.
EA888 2.0 TFSI units (K03 / IS20 / IS38) and the small-frame 1.4 TFSI. The S3 IS38 is a sought-after performance unit that commands more.
The large 2.5 TFSI five-cylinder turbo (RS3, TT RS) and the 4.0 V8 hot-V biturbos (RS6, RS7, S6, S7), rare, high-value units for performance owners.
Every part is checked and, where possible, test-run before it leaves the yard.
All parts are covered by our standard 30-day warranty for peace of mind.

A tired turbo announces itself with lost boost, blue smoke, whistling or rising oil use. Before you buy, it’s worth confirming the turbo is actually the culprit and not a split intercooler pipe or a blocked oil feed. On the diesels the usual fault is a sticking VNT actuator; on the petrols it’s shaft play or a cracked housing. A good used unit from a low-mileage Audi A6 diesel range donor is a fraction of the new-OEM price.
Turbos are matched to the engine code, so always quote with your VIN. If the turbo failed catastrophically and sent debris into the motor, you may be looking at more than the cartridge — in that case a used OEM engine from a donor can be the cheaper route than rebuilding a damaged block. A scored cylinder head from the same incident is also worth pricing while you’re at it.
Always renew the oil and filter, clean the oil-feed line and check the breather before running a replacement turbo — a starved feed is the quickest way to kill it. On modified cars, a tuned engine ECU should match the turbo spec. Send us the symptoms and your engine code and we’ll point you to the correct unit and the must-do items for your motor.

We freight nationwide to all major centres. Find local delivery details for your city:
A used 2.0 TDI or 2.0 TFSI turbo typically runs R4,000–R9,000, a 3.0 TDI V6 turbo around R6,500–R12,000, and the smaller 1.4 TFSI from R3,000. RS-spec 2.5 TFSI and V8 biturbo units are higher and usually quote-on-request. We price each turbo with delivery included.
Turbos are matched to the engine code, not the model. The same 2.0 TDI may use different turbos across years. Send us your VIN, registration or engine code (e.g. CAGA, CDN) and we’ll confirm the correct turbo before it ships.
On the diesels it’s most often a sticking VNT (variable-nozzle) actuator or vane mechanism; on the petrols it’s worn bearings, shaft play or a cracked housing. Symptoms include lost boost, whistling, smoke and oil use. If you describe the symptoms we can advise whether a used turbo is the right fix.
We always recommend fresh oil and filter, a clean oil-feed line and checking the intercooler and pipes for oil. A blocked oil feed is the quickest way to kill a replacement turbo. We’ll point out the must-do items for your engine.
Each turbo is inspected for shaft play, vane movement and housing damage before sale, and sold with our standard 30-day warranty. We note the donor vehicle’s details so you know where it came from.
